Maintenance Tips
Efficient filters mean an efficient hood.
Every 2 months*, wash the metal grease filters by hand or in a dishwasher.
Change the synthetic grease filters every 2 months.
WARNING! Greasy filters are a fire hazard. That’s why proper maintenance is so important!
Replace the odour filters every 3 months*
*These intervals refer to normal hood usage of around 3 hours a day.
CLEANING YOUR HOOD
Clean your hood with a sponge damped in soapy water. Only use neutral* soap!
Rinse with a damp cloth.
Wipe your hood dry with a soft cloth. If your hood has a surface in brushed stainless steel, wipe in the direction of the brushing.
Clean the duct inside the hood once a year.
*Acidic cleaning products can damage the surface of your hood.
